The Green Gang Inc. began in 1981.
Gloria Welch and her husband John operated the company in its beginnings from a garage until 1985 when the company moved to its current 30 acre site. Gloria and John have four children: Elizabeth, Joshua, David and Nathanael. All the children grew up with the company and two are working with the company today. The company is comprised of over 50 employees and more as we grow with our clients. Our services have grown from our humble beginnings of mowing to all commercial grounds services and irrigation. From Imagination to Installation to Maintenance for Life has been our initiative with clients for years. What we create we want to last. We have created beautiful, functional settings, and enhanced numerous sites since 1981. Our efforts never tire for improvement to your grounds.

Gloria, a mother of four, and a grandmother to a large host of grandchildren has instilled in all family and staff the best traits of our company. The priority of Customer service and Quality work from start to cleanup encourage our staff every day.

David Welch
Manager
David manages our grounds maintenance and winter safety services. With state certifications, training from Purdue, and turf expertise he oversees the appropriate care of your grounds. With a staff of supervisors, applicators, and crewmen, excellence is always sought on every site. In the winter, he oversees operations for snow removal and salting services.
Nathanael Welch
Manager
Nathanael is our Design and Projects manager. He has renovated, with vibrancy, numerous sites in Indianapolis. The capability of the company has been expanded throughout the years from construction projects, extensive landscape maintenance, to irrigation installations. Nathanael is a graduate from Purdue University's school of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture.
